To ensure complete integrity in the process, we use an independent service to perform credit checks – so you can be sure that an unbiased assessment is made.

Our landlords and tenants have the reassurance of an alternative dispute resolution service, should the need arise.

The Property Ombudsman Scheme (TPO) is a government approved scheme to provide independent redress in relation to disputes between consumers and property agents. We are proud to be members of this scheme.

You will see from our membership that we are a Full Member and we abide by TPO Codes of Practice. The Ombudsman is able to consider complaints in relation to residential sales, lettings and buying services, commercial sales and lettings, international sales and lettings and chattels auctions. Tenancy Deposit Scheme – security for you and your tenants

Tenancy Deposit Scheme (TDS) is a multi-award winning provider of tenancy deposit protection. It protects over 1 million deposits in England and Wales.

Under the Housing Act 2004 you, as a landlord, have a duty to protect your tenant’s deposit monies through a government approved scheme.

The Centro team will take care of this for you, and provide both you and your tenant with the relevant paperwork and certificates, giving everybody peace of mind.

Disputes over deposit returns at the end of a tenancy can be raised with an impartial adjudicator for a swift and fair resolution.

    • Overseeing property outgoings such as ground rent, service charges and more

    • Proactive marketing for properties approaching the end of tenancy
    • Serving of notices to tenants as required
    • Minor repairs and maintenance
    • Emergency repairs if needed
    • Managing insurance claims.

Fee's applicable to tenants

Tenancy and administration charge: This includes a charge to meet part of the cost of preparing the tenancy agreement, taking up references and obtaining a credit report for each applicant.

  • £300.00 inclusive of VAT for 1 Tenant
  • £360.00 inclusive of VAT for 2 Tenants
  • £420.00 inclusive of VAT for 3 Tenants 
  • £480.00 inclusive of VAT for 4 Tenants
  • Charge for referencing Guarantors if applicable: £120.00 inclusive of VAT per guarantor
  • Tenancy extension / renewal charge: £120.00 inclusive of VAT per tenancy 
    Negotiating a new term, rent reviews, updating the Tenancy Deposit Protection certificate and re-drawing the tenancy agreement where necessary
  • Check in administration: £96.00 inclusive of VAT per tenancy
    Arranging and paying for the inventory clerk to attend the premises to undertake an inventory and to take meter readings. To compile copies of essential documents such as EPC, GSC. Assisting with setting up the standing order for the monthly rental pay.
